There are those who predict prices could be back above $100 a barrel by the year end, sighting global shortages and uncertainty in the financial markets, but this would have a major impact of economic recovery around the world. At the moment there is plenty of oil in the pipeline and the cost of domestic heating (28 second burning) oil has remained pretty stable throughout the summer months, but all that could change with the onset of higher demand this winter. So now is a good time to check the level in your tank and to order oil for next winter before prices start to increase.
